Game Scenario

Every Tuesday, the library closes its doors, allowing legendary figures from detective novels to magically step out of their pages. Dracula, Jack the Ripper, Frankenstein, and Bluebeard reunite joyfully, enjoying freedom among the shelves.

This Tuesday, however, things went terribly wrong. Chaos erupted, crimes were committed, and even iconic detectives like Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot couldn't prevent tragedy. Worse still, some heroes paid the ultimate price.

Now, Ann Cyclopedia entrusts you and your team with unraveling the mystery, uncovering hidden clues, and bringing justice back to the library.

How the Game Works

Massacre at the Library is a strategic and collaborative puzzle-solving experience. No role-playing required.

A Game Master guides teams through multiple rounds of engaging mini-games, allowing teams to earn crucial clues. Teams analyze these clues alongside detailed Literary Identity Cards to form theories, identify culprits, and reveal the truth behind the library’s darkest day.

The game encourages various interactive dynamics:

• Cooperation - Work together with teammates and other teams to piece clues together.
• Bluffing - Strategically hide or reveal your discoveries.
• Sneaky Moves - Be alert; other teams might use cunning tactics against you.
• Jokers - Special cards granting teams unique advantages to strategically alter the flow of the game.
